Greensill Capital says ‘saviour of steel’ Sanjeev Gupta’s GFG Alliance has started to default on payments
Fears are growing about the future of 5,000 British jobs after the main financial backer of Sanjeev Gupta’s steel empire collapsed into administration.
Greensill Capital, a bank thatis Gupta’s key lender, said on Monday that it was in “severe financial distress” and formally appointed administrators.
